Cedrick has the distinction of being the first black architect student to graduate from Louisiana Tech University in 1979. He joined HLA in 1983 after working for Ford Bacon and Davis and the City of Monroe’s Housing and Urban Development Division. Cedrick became an Associate of the firm in1998.

Cedrick has over 30 years of professional experience in all architectural disciplines including engineering and interior design.

Through collaboration, Cedrick strives to create memorable places that are innovative and engaging to the building users as well as the community.

Cedrick proudly serves on the Monroe Historic Preservation Committee as well as the Southside Economic Development District.
